How to send subscription renewal reminders in RunMags

You send renewal reminders in batches from RunMags. Reminder rules pick the subscriptions that are close to the end of their term and cap how many reminders each subscriber gets.

Steps

  1. Open Subscription sales > Renewals and set your reminder rules.
  2. Rules pick subscriptions by days to expiry or issues left, and cap how many reminders are sent.
  3. Generate the reminder batch and send it.
  4. Follow outcomes in Subscription sales > Insight > Churn and retention report.

What it does not do

  • No failed-payment recovery (dunning) or scheduled automatic charging of renewals.
  • No self-service for subscribers to update a card, download invoices or cancel.
  • No win-back campaigns for lapsed subscribers.
