Maggie News Editions / Company Newsroom
You don't have to be a publisher to build a useful newsroom.
Your customers care about what is happening in their industry. Company Newsroom is our planned Maggie News edition for businesses that want to help them understand it: printers, SaaS companies, agencies and other specialists with an audience to serve.
The direction is a branded home for relevant, sourced industry news, with your editorial policy and review. Company-specific setup and distribution still need to be demonstrated. We do not promise automatic SEO results, rankings or leads.
Start with your expertise, not a magazine business model
Printers and manufacturers
Help your audience follow relevant materials, technology and industry developments. Keep your own announcements distinct from independent industry reporting.
SaaS businesses
Explain the developments your users need to understand. Define sources, topics and exclusions so news remains useful rather than becoming a stream of disguised product claims.
Agencies
Plan separate client newsrooms with their own audience, brand and approval owner. Multi-client packaging is an option to evaluate; tenant separation is a requirement, not an optional upgrade.
These are proposed use cases, not named customer results.
A newsroom built around your audience
- Set the brief. Define the people you want to inform, the topics that matter and what is out of scope.
- Agree the sources and policy. Use cleared sources, attribution and image rights. A source is factual evidence, not permission to copy its article or photograph.
- Review the story. Keep company announcements, industry reporting and sponsored content clearly separated. Legal or people-related flags stay with a human.
- Choose the destination. Plan an owned-site newsroom or a verified feed/embed handoff. Newsletter and social outputs can be evaluated separately; their inclusion is not assumed.
A shared engine, not an invented success story
Maggie News has source-backed editorial and news-site components. Dated Nifty demo evidence records niche-news drafts and review. Northwind Living's demo evidence is a partial publishing workflow. Neither is a verified non-publisher newsroom case study.
The first Company Newsroom work is a non-publisher setup preset, followed by verified distribution, metadata and correction behavior. We will show the actual scope rather than call a collection of components a finished product.
Useful industry news first
A newsroom should give readers a reason to return. The intended search foundations include clear source links, useful original framing, correct canonical metadata and a correction process. These need verification in the selected destination.
Publishing more pages is not a search strategy by itself. No claim is made that generated articles will rank, attract a specific audience or create sales opportunities.
Questions
Do I need to run a magazine?
No. This edition is explicitly being designed for non-publishers. Whether it will be sold standalone or in a wider RunMags package has not been decided.
Is this a press-release archive?
It can be evaluated alongside your company announcements, but the proposed emphasis is useful ongoing industry reporting. The two should be clearly labelled and governed, not mixed into one promotional stream.
Can it use our existing website?
That is an intended option. The exact CMS, feed/widget and publication process must be verified first. No WordPress, Wix or RunMags CMS connector is promised merely by naming the platform.
Can our agency manage several clients?
Multi-client packaging is under consideration. Each client needs its own source policy, review authority and data boundary before such an arrangement can be accepted.
What does it cost, and how quickly can we launch?
Prices and package inclusion are pending. Setup depends on sources, rights, accounts and the destination. We have not verified a minutes-to-launch promise. Begin with one audience and one preview.
What would your customers find useful this week?
Bring that question, a few sources you are entitled to use and the place you want the news to appear. We'll start there.
