Maggie News Editions / Social Autopilot

Give one approved story more ways to be seen.

Your newsroom has already done the work of choosing and reviewing a story. Social Autopilot is our planned edition for turning that work into social content shaped for each channel, without starting again every time.

Begin with drafts and review. Social-network connectors and automatic posting are not verified features of this offer. “Autopilot” is the edition name, not permission to publish without you.

For teams with news to share, not another blank calendar

For publishers, company marketing teams and agencies that want social content connected to a real editorial story. The proposed workflow retains the story's evidence and review context instead of treating each post as unrelated copy.

One story. Channel-specific drafts. A clear release boundary.

  1. Start from approved news. Select the story, intended audience and destination account. Flagged or withdrawn content must not slip into a new channel.
  2. Shape the draft. Adapt the angle and length for the chosen channel. Check the link, image rights and brand voice rather than copying the same text everywhere.
  3. Approve the exact version. A revised story or post needs the appropriate review. Approval of the article alone must not silently approve every social rendition.
  4. Use a verified delivery path. The connector, account permissions, pause control and delivery receipt must be demonstrated before real posting is offered. Exporting a draft and publishing a post are not the same event.

These are acceptance requirements for the edition, not a claim that the full workflow is already available.

What exists, and what still needs proof

RunMags' capability map records social-kit source. NewsDesk also has unpublished draft-reformatting work. Neither establishes a working social connector. Historical Nifty article-autopilot evidence concerns news approval, not social-network delivery. Northwind Living's broader demo flow remains incomplete.

The first build priorities are an approved-story draft/export pack and one explicitly selected connector, tested with capture-only fixtures. We do not advertise supported live networks, reach gains or autonomous publishing before that evidence exists.

A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

Questions

Which networks can I connect today?

This page does not claim a verified live network list. We will scope the network and account type you need, then demonstrate its supported behavior before offering delivery.

Can I keep Buffer or Hootsuite?

An existing social planner may remain part of your workflow. Draft/export and connector handoffs need checking; no integration with either service is promised by naming it here.

Will it post without approval?

Approve-first is the default. A higher autonomy level requires explicit authority and evidence; it is not enabled by a product name or by approving one article.

What if the story changes?

The planned edition must preserve the relationship between the story and its social version, and invalidate stale approvals where necessary. Correction and withdrawal behavior is part of acceptance, not a promise that a post on every external network can be recalled.

What will it cost?

Per-brand/profile and agency-pool options are under consideration. Prices, usage allowances and bundle inclusion are not decided yet. Nothing on this page enables a charge or an account connection.
